In my heart and mind

I feel a moving presence here in my soul

Very near, very real

 

Across distance and time

Soft breath of kind forgiveness flies

Your beaming presence

Reaching beyond

Times that have gone

 

Building castles in clouds

In the spotlight of my consciousness

There's that presence

 

But, hey, wait, why

I fear you’ll slip away

So I keep dreaming 

Cos it's all in my colorful memory book

Drifting into the shadows now

There's nowhere near

What anyone would fear
